Ross is a zoologist, entomologist, explorer, author and TV presenter/on-screen expert.
He was the entomologist for a BBC/Smithsonian Institution expedition to Burma, broadcast as the three-part Wild Burma on BBC 2 and his recent book, Animal Earth, is a cutting-edge exploration of animal diversity.
Ross is extremely keen to make people think differently about animal diversity by helping them to engage with it. With his background in insect ecology, Ross taps into his knowledge of how and where insects live to give us invaluable advice on creating habitats that are buzzing with life.
